Quick help

• Start: say "Let's play today's Sonarlex" in ChatGPT. New to it? "Start the Sonarlex practice puzzle": its word never changes.
• Play: give up to 5 words at a time ("ocean, ship, salt"), or type them in the card. Each gets a number: #1 is the secret word, and lower is closer in meaning.
• A word "isn't in the list": Sonarlex ranks about 28,271 English and 22,327 Turkish words. Phrases, very common words such as "the" and offensive words aren't in the lists, and trying them costs nothing.
• Plurals and forms count as their base word ("ships" is "ship", "denizde" is "deniz"). In Turkish, letters without accents work too ("gunes" is "güneş").
• Hints: 3 per puzzle, each costs a turn and lands about halfway between your best word and the secret, never closer than #10.
• Give up: say "I give up, what was the word?" or use Give up in the card. Your streak starts again the next day.
• Language: Sonarlex follows your ChatGPT language. Say "Let's play in Turkish" or "in English" to switch.
• New words: the English word changes at midnight UTC, the Turkish word at midnight Türkiye time.
• Delete your data: say "Delete my Sonarlex data".

When you write to us, tell us the puzzle number and language, and roughly when it happened. Please don't send screenshots of your ChatGPT conversation unless we ask; we never need your name.
