Privacy policy

Sonarlex Word Puzzle ("Sonarlex") is a daily word game you play inside ChatGPT. It is made by The Open Apps, Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what Sonarlex collects, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. Contact: support@theopenapps.com.
What we collect

We do not collect your name, email, account, contacts, chat history, IP address or precise location, and we use no cookies, ads, analytics or trackers. The words you type are game moves; please don't type personal information into the game.
Who receives it
- OpenAI, which runs ChatGPT: Sonarlex's results (your words, their numbers, your board and, once a puzzle is over, its word) go back to ChatGPT so it can show and talk about them. OpenAI handles them under its own policies and your ChatGPT data settings.
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which hosts our server, and Cloudflare, Inc., which serves our domain's DNS.
- Nobody else. We don't sell or share your data for advertising.
Your choices
- Say "Delete my Sonarlex data" in ChatGPT (the
reset_my_statstool) to delete your boards, words, streaks and stats in both languages at once. The anonymous solve counts stay. - Or email support@theopenapps.com with your request.
Children
Sonarlex is for general audiences aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.
Word lists
Closeness between words is computed on our server from openly licensed word vectors: GloVe (Stanford NLP, Public Domain Dedication and License) for English and fastText (Facebook AI Research, CC BY-SA 3.0) for Turkish. Words are filtered with the LDNOOBW list (CC BY 4.0).
