Sonarlex is a ChatGPT plugin: a word game where everyone playing a language hunts the same secret word each day. Tell ChatGPT your words or type them in the card; Sonarlex works out the numbers.

How to add it

  1. Find the plugin

    In ChatGPT, open Plugins and search for “Sonarlex”, or use the button above.

  2. Add it

    No account needed. Sonarlex knows you only by an anonymous ID that ChatGPT provides.

  3. Play

    Say “Let's play today's Sonarlex”. The English word changes at midnight UTC, the Turkish one at midnight Türkiye time.

Questions

Does ChatGPT know the secret word?
No. The word lives only on Sonarlex's server. ChatGPT sees the numbers of the words you tried, and learns the word only once you find it or give up.
How are the numbers worked out?
Every word has a vector; the closest one to the secret word is #2, the next #3 and so on. English uses GloVe vectors and Turkish fastText vectors, both openly licensed.
What if I type a plural or another form?
It counts as its base word: “ships” counts as “ship”. In Turkish, letters without accents work too: “gunes” counts as “güneş”.
Which language do I play in?
Your ChatGPT language: Turkish if it's Turkish, otherwise English. Say “Let's play in Turkish” to switch.
How do I delete my data?
Say “Delete my Sonarlex data”; your puzzles, words and streak are deleted.
